Trusted, Committed, & Dedicated

Greg is proud to have been born and raised in Champaign County. Greg is a firm believer that rather than relying on outside sources, we should have trust in our community to solve its own problems—this includes raising local people to attain and fill local leadership positions. Greg is committed to Champaign County as he regularly gives his time in giving back to the community by serving as a board member to numerous local community organizations; a trustee to his local Urbana church; providing weather forecasting to the Urbana Fire Division for emergency management purposes; coaching to youth sports; and past board trustee to the county mental health, drug, and alcohol board. Greg will continue his dedication to the Champaign County community by serving the citizens with a fair sense of justice, a listen first and talk second attitude, a common sense approach to the law, and above all, compassion for our people.

Honor, Integrity, & Consistency

As a practicing attorney in Champaign County since 2015 and the current Magistrate in the Champaign County Municipal Court since June 2023, Greg takes these roles very seriously. He very much believes that the Municipal Court Judge position requires a person who can offer respect and integrity to the law on a consistent basis. Greg believes he is up for the challenge. Greg’s commitment to you, the citizens of Champaign County, is clear—he will relentlessly strive to be the best Municipal Court Judge through continued hard work and dedication to the Community.
